Love and kindness are never wasted.  They always make a difference.  They bless the one who recieves them, and they bless you, the giver.
                                             -Barbara De Angelis

The Peanut Butter and Jelly Gang is an organization where people of all ages help to make the world a better place.  This is a small action that is easy for anyone to do, but it really helps to make a difference in our community and it helps those in need.

On Thursdays, every other week, people gather together at St. Peter the Apostle, in the lower hall, for the Peanut Butter and Jelly Gang.  People of all ages come to help out.  The majority of the people work on making the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches because that is what we need to make the most.  Other people help work on making wash-up kits, which include hygiene items for the needy.

Mission Statement

Our goals as pilgrims on a lifetime journey is to share our bread, clothing and attention with those in need.  To welcome the stranger to a table of friendship and hospitality.  Working together as an interfaith group of concerned people, we strive to uphold the dignity of all people.  We hope that in the process of serving, that change will occur, not only in the lives of the stranger, but also in the life of the server.  In essence, we strive as a community to create a world where it is easy to do good.  --Joe Dugan, Director of Peanut Butter Gang, Inc.
